Hey all! Sorry I haven’t put anything up in a while, but hopefully this will begin to make up for it. This is a sneak peek of the new season of Dexter starting September 26th. From the looks of it, it’s going to be just as intense as the rest of the series. I’m already sharpening my knives in anticipation! (And yes, I did just say that.)

Now I do remember watching Flash Gordon when I was a kid of about six and I can’t remember anything about it. But watching it this week for the first time in twenty years, there’s one thing that stood out to me as something I should have remembered. It’s freaking AWESOME. [..]

While Grindhouse itself was some what of a box office fail, it has spawned a lot of spin offs, mostly from the fake trailers shown within the movie. The first example of this is Machete, which is No. 2 in the American box office as I write this. Eli Roth is even in talks to turn his fake trailer Thanksgiving into a full fledge feature. But the most interesting thing to come out of this would be Hobo with a Shotgun. This trailer was actually created as a part of a contest to promote Grindhouse, and  judging by the real trailer they just released they’ve maintained the exploitation cinema feel. It definitely looks promising. Check it out!
