This is one of those American things that happens all too often.
A 22 year old women from Illinois USA was arrested in Nov last year for filming 2 minutes of Twilight: New Moon in a cinema.
She now intends to sue that cinema for stressful damages.
That’s correct, the lady in question recorded less than 3 minutes of Twilight: New Moon in a Regal Theater last Nov,
she claims when caught the police seemed reluctant to arrest however the Regal manager insisted aiding the arrest, she spent 2 nights in jail and took part in a trial that ended in her getting off from a 3 year jail sentence.
The lady (who I’m not naming because I don’t do that) is now suing the theater for US50,000 for mental and stressful damages. She claims the footage was only taken because she wanted to get an image of her favourite actor without a shirt and not for piracy reasons.
