Retro Rewind: Super Mario 64
Jul 2011 01

It’s-a-me MARRRIIOOO!!

Who doesn’t remember that sound as soon as you popped the game cart into your Nintendo64 back in 1996.

I sure as hell do and I heard it again this week when I went back for our first Retro Rewind and played it all, all over again.

So how does the original stack up today? Find out after the jump.

This week we get together to discuss *SPOILERS* Transformers 3. 1 of us is confused. 1 of us is in rage and 1 of us is somehow entertained.

Off the Topic #32 – Transtarded

A Transformers Alternative
Jul 2011 04

I think it’s pretty unanimous that the third Transformers movie is as bad if not worse then the previous two films. So there are a lot of people wondering what was the big deal in the first place. Well I grew up with Transformers and loved everything about them. Sure the toys were cool but they really did have a bunch of awesome characters and a great sci-fi story to go with them. It was fun, action packed and didn’t feel the need to treat the child audience like idiots. Unlike some other Transformer properties. As bad as the live action movies are, you should really check out the original 1986 animated movie. It was a cool space opera with a kick ass soundtrack and it was a kids movie where they actually dropped an “S-bomb” right in the middle. Hardcore. It’s very dated but still so much better then anything Michael Bay is making. So give it a look if you can find it, I’ve even seen that it’s now on blu-ray. Here’s the original trailer, have a look: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaEWLuVJee0&w=425&h=349]

Review – Order & Chaos Online
Jul 2011 05

Hello there again and welcome to one of many new game reviews.

We will be covering everything from Pc to Iphone games, so keep a look out for more and more soon.

We start back off with a very new concept, it’s an MMO (Massively Multiplyer Online) game for a mobile device.

Now there has been a few attempts at recreating that World of Warcraft experience on the mobiles but none come that close to the real thing to make it worth playing.

So how does Gameloft’s Order & Chaos Online fair?
