I got really excited this week when I heard there were now pics out of not only the new Superman but also Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. Then I saw the photos and to be honest I was a little underwelmed.

The superman suit looks a litte… I don’t know, bumpy? I don’t mind the darker colours of the costume but it does look like it’s made of those mats you put in the shower to stop yourself from slipping over. Hopefully it looks better in motion. Oh and Henry Cavill doesn’t seem to have the traditional superman hairdo. Instead he has mine… that’s good I guess.

As for Catwoman, she doesn’t seem very cat like. Now I was expecting this, after all this is the Chris Nolan Batman universe where everything is more grounded in reality. So it would be hard to find a practical reason to put kitty ears on a character who is essentially just a thief. Now she does look cool but nothing about this says Catwoman. Could be worse, could be this.

This year more and more superhero’s keep hitting the big screen and now the last of the Avengers setup movies has finally arrived. Since I reviewed Thor I better do the right thing and talk about the brand new war epic, Captain America: The First Avenger. [..]

Boy the trailers just keep coming. After the Dark Knight Rises trailer was “accidentally” leaked, throwing another log on the hype fire, there just happened to be another trailer that was also “accidentally” leaked too. Spider-man is back. Does anyone still really believe that these trailers keep escaping the clutches of the studios only to increase awareness of the film? Anyway the trailer looks cool, a lot grittier and darker then the previous films(not sure if that’s how Spider-man is meant to be). But unlike that other superhero movie trailer it shows a lot more of the film even if only a glimpse of Spidey himself. Yes more Harry Potter articles. I think after this past week Warner Brothers should be giving sites like ours some promotional money. This is great advertising for their movie and lets face it, they can afford it. I was going to give a rundown on the series as a whole, but we are pretty well doing that in our current podcasts. Of course our version of the series is a lot more racist with way more references to rape, but that goes for most of our podcasts (Listen Here). So for this article I’m going to try to stay within the new and final Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Long title yes, but still far easier to say then The Rise of the Planet of the Apes. [..]

WOW it’s trailer week!!!! And believe it or not the hype is around a trailer that wasn’t even released. Way to under cut everybody Nolan. So incase you didn’t hear a trailer for the “Dark Knight Rises” was leaked last week and people went nuts.
