We have had a lot of Superhero movies over the last couple of years. It has been a pleasant surprise that a lot of these so called “comic book” movies have been treated with the respect given to other literary material. We have two great Batman movies from DC and a whole bunch of Marvel characters popping up with their own quality features. Now we have DC’s first (Jonah Hex doesn’t count) real big follow up to The Dark Knight, Green Lantern. [..]

Well it has been a pretty good year for movies all round and especially the American summer blockbuster. But when I heard that there was going to be a new Planet of the Apes movie I didn’t exactly go bananas. Yes there will be a lot of ape/monkey puns in this article so consider yourselves warned. [..]

This year more and more superhero’s keep hitting the big screen and now the last of the Avengers setup movies has finally arrived. Since I reviewed Thor I better do the right thing and talk about the brand new war epic, Captain America: The First Avenger. [..]

Yes more Harry Potter articles. I think after this past week Warner Brothers should be giving sites like ours some promotional money. This is great advertising for their movie and lets face it, they can afford it. I was going to give a rundown on the series as a whole, but we are pretty well doing that in our current podcasts. Of course our version of the series is a lot more racist with way more references to rape, but that goes for most of our podcasts (Listen Here). So for this article I’m going to try to stay within the new and final Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Long title yes, but still far easier to say then The Rise of the Planet of the Apes. [..]
